Meet Kris Viers:

The Root Cause Strategist

From the Chair to the Lab: A 30-Year Evolution

For three decades, I mastered the art of hair from the stylist’s chair. I watched trends come and go, but one thing remained constant: the profound emotional toll of hair loss. I saw my clients’ confidence fracture, and I realized that while I could manage their style, I couldn’t fix their foundation. This realization became my personal mission. I didn't just want to hide the problem; I needed to solve it. I transitioned from the salon to the clinic, becoming a Certified Trichologist to bridge the gap between aesthetic beauty and functional medicine.

Bridging the gap between medical and holistic care to strategically address the root, systemic causes of hair loss through comprehensive analysis and collaborative wellness protocols.

What you see vs. What I see

Visible health isn't always internal health. While your scalp may appear clear of dandruff or irritation, micro-scalp analysis allows us identify 'hidden' stressors like follicular congestion and inflammation that often go unnoticed until hair thinning begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this just another "miracle" hair growth treatment?

No. I do not believe in miracles; I believe in cellular biology. Most retail products fail because they treat hair loss as a surface issue. My approach is investigative. We identify the specific systemic reasons—hormonal, nutritional, or inflammatory—why your hair is thinning. We aren't just "growing hair"; we are restoring the health of the environment that produces it.

How soon will I see results?

The hair growth cycle is a physiological process that cannot be rushed. It typically takes 90 to 120 days to see the first signs of cellular change on a trichoscopic level. While your scalp health will improve almost immediately, visible hair density requires patience and adherence to your personalized roadmap. We are playing the "long game" for permanent health, not a temporary fix.

I’ve already seen a Dermatologist. How is this different?

Dermatology is essential for diagnosing medical skin conditions and scarring alopecias. My role as a Trichologist is to provide the functional, day-to-day management that clinical appointments often don't have time for. I bridge the gap by looking at your nutrition, stress, and scalp hygiene in granular detail, ensuring your body actually has the "building blocks" it needs to respond to medical treatments.

Do I have to stop my current medical treatments?

Absolutely not. My protocols are designed to be complementary. In fact, many of my clients see better results from their PRP or medical prescriptions because we have optimized their scalp environment and corrected the underlying nutrient deficiencies that were holding those treatments back.

Why do you only offer clinical services on Tuesdays?

To provide the level of clinical focus and privacy my trichology clients deserve, I dedicate Tuesdays exclusively to these consultations. This ensures a quiet, professional environment free from the distractions of a traditional salon, allowing me to focus entirely on your diagnostic data and strategy.

Is this covered by insurance?

Trichology is currently considered a holistic, non-medical specialty and is generally not covered by traditional insurance. However, because I am a Board Certified Holistic Practitioner, some clients are able to use their HSA or FSA funds for consultations and treatments. I recommend checking with your provider for specific eligibility.

The 3 Essentials of Success

Data:

We use trichoscopy and labs, not guesswork.

Time:

Follicles need a full growth cycle (3–4 months) to show recovery.

Consistency:

A roadmap only works if you follow the directions.
